We are thrilled to announce Cytech’s participation at the 30th-anniversary celebration of the Science & Technology Park of Crete organized by the Foundation for Research and Technology (FORTH)!
On Friday, September 15, 2023, we had the honor to present Cytech’s achievements at the Heraklion Chamber of Commerce. The event aimed to showcase the incredible work of the Science & Technology Park of Crete and its significant contributions to fostering innovative entrepreneurship and technologies in the region. It also celebrated the 40-year anniversary of the FORTH.
Mrs. Argiro Kampouridi, Finance & Accounting Manager at Cytech, presented our company’s achievements over the years, and how the FORTH has aided our company’s success. Mrs. Kampouridi highlighted Cytech’s 22-year journey in developing and providing technological solutions that cater to the diverse needs of our partners worldwide.
Amongst many notable topics, the presentation touched on our long-standing products mCORE and ProSMS.gr, as well as our contributions to the Open Source community with the creation of BuddyMeet. Additionally, Cytech’s development of the European Passenger Locator Form (PLF) during the pandemic, enabled safe tourism and travel across Europe. Lastly, our involvement in a program focused on early detection of potential health issues in infants within their cribs was also noted. This remarkable project is conducted in partnership with the FORTH and other institutions.
The Science & Technology Park of Crete has been a cornerstone in promoting research knowledge from academic institutions in Crete, making a significant impact on the overall Cretan economy. The Park is now marking three decades of groundbreaking research and technological advancement in Greece.
