The project aim was the design and development of the innovative e-Charter Permission platform for the Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Insular Policy. The project digitally modernized the charter permit issuance process for commercial pleasure yachts and mega-yachts, eliminating bureaucratic delays.
Through seamless integration with the Independent Authority for Public Revenue (IAPR/AADE) and Port Authorities, the platform enables automated data cross-referencing, rapid application processing, easy fee and taxes payment and full transparency across the Greek marine tourism sector.

The project aims to create a web application that will enable the Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Insular Policy executives to quickly and efficiently monitor and manage all actions and projects run by all departments of the Ministry.
The Project Management Tool was created based on the Ministry’s specific needs, taking into consideration the processes and procedures that are used by its different departments for the monitoring of the various projects that are in progress at any given time. The software was installed in the Ministry’s infrastructures for maximum efficiency and minimum hosting costs.
The project involved the design and development of a video conferencing service from scratch, enabling video calls through WordPress websites.
Cytech developed the WordPress plugin, back-end administration API and the services supporting accounting, invoicing and service management.
The solution was deployed on secure, scalable AWS infrastructure, with components designed to scale according to demand across both the software services and the video conferencing infrastructure.

Cytech further developed and modernized an online dating platform combining video conferencing, WebSocket-based communication and WordPress.
The project transformed a manually managed single-server environment into secure, scalable, production-ready infrastructure on AWS. The work included containerized services, a managed database, isolated networking and infrastructure as code.
Automated provisioning and deployment pipelines, zero-downtime service updates, and centralized logging and monitoring established a robust foundation for operating and evolving the platform.
In the framework of the Act “Internship of students of Merchant Marine Academies on board to fulfill their first maritime educational voyage”, but also in general for European Community Fund operations, the Ministry of Maritime Affairs is obliged to have a system of data collection, processing, storage and transfer of the participant’s data, in order on the one hand to ensure the accuracy and adequacy of the data of the participants and on the other hand the timely updating of the Integrated Information System with these data. The above collection, processing, and storage of participants’ data are based on the conditions included in the Integration Decision. To this end, a specialized web application was developed for the computerization of the above processes.

The aim of this project is to develop a system to support the function of the Certificates of Seaworthiness Department of the Directorate of Sailors’ Training.
The developed information system integrates Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) and:
The subject of this project is to offer a dedicated 5digit SMS number and technical support services for the needs of the Labor Inspection Body.
Specifically, Cytech offers to the ministry a dedicated 5digit shortcode, where employers send via SMS the overtime of their employees and thus register it to the ministry’s system.
Cytech’s system is directly connected to the ministry’s system and the whole process of receiving the employers’ messages and replying whether the registration of the overtimes was successful, is automated.

The project concerns the development of the Passenger Locator Form (PLF), an electronic form that all travelers entering Greece must complete before entering the country. With this system, the Greek government could carry out the necessary diagnostic screening and keep everyone safe during the COVID-19 pandemic without jeopardizing Tourism, one of the country’s major industries.
Specifically, Greece was the first country in Europe to develop such a system in 2020 and received tourists in the summer of 2020 without increasing the spread of the pandemic in the country.

This project aims to electronically record and manage information about COVID19 cases and their close contacts. This electronic tracking system was a critical success factor in reducing the spread of the virus in the country through the immediate and timely monitoring of the affected cases as well as their close contacts.
It helped the authorities maximize the efficiency of their tracking efforts and minimize the time needed for each case to get recorded, tracked, and monitored.

The aim of the project was the development of the online passenger locator form (digital PLF), which is a tool for recording and tracking the passengers traveling from one country to another during the COVID-19 pandemic. The use of this mechanism allows government agencies of EU countries to impose rules on who can enter each country based on personal data, where their journey began or the area in which they reside.
At the same time, it allows the easier detection of COVID-19 cases and the limitation of the pandemic spread. With this system EU member states monitor the itinerary of each traveler and exchange information about active Covid cases that have traveled from one country to another, in order to track infected people and stop the spread of Covid.

The aim of the project was the systematic monitoring of the COVID19 rapid tests conducted by the citizens, the members of the educational community, and the employees of companies with more than 20 employees. The platform helped significantly increase the number of rapid tests conducted in the country and included in the national strategy against the virus the monitoring of asymptomatic volunteers by randomly selecting 12,000 applicants/citizens daily to be tested for free.
